The costumes of Dame Nellie Melba, Kylie Minogue and Dame Edna Everage will go on display at the Arts Centre in Melbourne this week.
The free exhibition is part of the All That Glitters display. It includes Dame Edna Everage’s iconic gladioli dress designed by costume designer Bill Goodwin and a Swarovski crystal-encrusted costume designed by John Galliano; and worn by Kylie Minogue during her Kylie Showgirl: Homecoming Tour in 2006; and a highly detailed embroidered cloak worn by Dame Nellie Melba and designed by Jean-Phillippe Worth.
All That Glitters will open at Gallery 1 of the Melbourne Arts Centre on Saturday, November 16. The free exhibition will run until February 23, 2014.
