La La Land music composer Justin Hurwitz has won two Academy Awards for his music from La La Land.
La La Land won Best Music (Original Song) for ‘City of Stars’ as Best Music (Original Score).
Justin Hurwitz is a relative newcomer to Hollywood. Aged 32 Hurwitz previously had worked on music for the movies ‘Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench’ (2009) and ‘Whiplash’ (2014).
In 2011 he also worked on one episode of The Simpsons ‘The Falcon and the D’ohman’.

The 2017 Academy Awards event later went into chaos when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, stars of the 1967 classic Bonnie and Clyde, announced the Best Picture Oscar and gave the prize to La La Land. The real winner was Moonlight.
An explanation about how someone can get something so wrong is yet to be revealed.
