‘Perfect Illusion’, the Lady Gaga collaboration with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker has been revealed.
‘Perfect Illusion’ is the first taste of Lady Gaga’s yet-to-be-titled return to Pop album.
My love and thanks to the brilliant gentlemen I made this record with @MarkRonson @tameimpala @bloodpop & Josh Homme pic.twitter.com/AvV0wQmkOw

Lady Gaga ‘Perfect Illusion’ was written by Gaga, Parker, Mark Ronson and Bloodpop (American producer Michael Tucker, who was previously known as Blood Diamonds). The song was recorded at Rick Rubin’s Shangri La Studios in Malibu.
Ronson plays bass on the track, Parker is on guitar and Lady Gaga on keyboards.
A video for the song was filmed in the California desert over two days with Gaga dressed by her long-time fashion collaborator Brandon Maxwell.
The last pop album for Lady Gaga was the poorly received ‘Artpop’ in 2013. The album sold 758,000 copies in the USA, a big drop from the previous 2.4 million US sales for ‘Born This Way’ and 4.7 million sales for ‘The Fame’.
Lady Gaga’s last release was the Tony Bennett collaboration ‘Cheek To Cheek’ in 2014.
