Lady Gaga recently reunited with her Sin City: A Dame To Kill For co-star Ray Liotta for a friendly dinner date in New York City.
Lady Gaga, 30, was spotted with Liotta, 61, enjoying a private meal at Italian restaurant L’Artusi, but the outing was far from intimate, as her father, Joe Germanotta, Jr., was also present for the occasion.
“They looked super chummy and like they know each other well,” an onlooker told the New York Post’s Page Six of Gaga and Liotta’s reunion, two years after starring together in the Sin City sequel.
However, Gaga’s representative made it clear the dinner was strictly platonic, stating to the tabloid, “Ray is friends with Stefani (Gaga) and her dad.”
The Born This Way hitmaker has been surrounding herself with friends and family of late after calling off her engagement to her actor beau Taylor Kinney last month.
Gaga recently celebrated the baptism of her childhood friend and fellow musician Brian Newman’s daughter Sistilia, to whom she was appointed godmother, and joined Tony Bennett last week to help him ring in his 90th birthday in New York.
Lady Gaga, who had been dating Kinney, 35, for five years, took to Instagram to confirm reports of their split in late July, but insisted they both wanted to try and work things out.
Alongside a snap of the couple, Gaga wrote: “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.
“We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
