Lady Gaga was after a room to party in Melbourne this week. Her people looked at the Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane but Young told them they would have to clear out by 9pm to make way for the resident band Jackson Firebird.

“At Cherry Jackson Firebird comes before Lady GaGa because we honour our existing bookings to local acts” Young said.

Gaga, who insists she looks after for “Little Monsters” wanted the room for her own function which would mean Jackson Firebird would have to be cancelled.

Jackson Firebird play two sets every Wednesday night for free for the punters.

Gaga went to the Northcote Social Club instead.
