Lady Gaga wet fans’ appetites in London Sunday with a preview of her new album.
The performer, who will release ARTPOP November 11, took the stage to kickoff the iTunes Festival with an hour-long show at London’s Roundhouse Sunday.
MTV reports Gaga performed seven tracks from the album, including a debut of Jewels & Drugs, which features the singer rapping for the first time alongside Twista, Too $hort and T.I.
The star opened with a song called Aura, wearing what’s described as a “black ninja-style suit” and ski mask before stripping down to glittering boots and a bra, the first of several costume changes.
She also performed MANiCURE, Sex Dreams, Swine and finished the set with her latest single, Applause.
“To say that I’ve missed you, it’s a bit of an understatement, isn’t it?” she shouted over the mic.
The performance marked Gaga’s first full live set since the 27-year-old underwent hip surgery in February to treat a labral tear.
It followed a week after Gaga’s triumphant stage return at the MTV Video Music Awards – her first major show.
The star was wheelchair-bound for several weeks and forced the star to cancel several US dates on her Born This Way Ball concert tour as well as put her forthcoming album on hold as a result of the injury.
The iTunes Festival runs through September 30.
