Synth-pop breakout artist Ladyhawke offers a teaser trailer for her long-awaited second album.
Pip Brown, better known to legions of fans of her self-titled 2009 debut and her ARIA- and NZMA-award-winning single ‘My Delirium’ as Ladyhawke, is about to release her long-awaited follow-up.
It’s to be titled Anxiety and will be introduced by the first single ‘Black, White & Blue’ debuting early next week on BBC Radio 1 and triplej.
In December last year Ladyhawke presented an “inspirations” podcast for the album on her label Modular’s website, citing acts such as Beck, Sonic Youth, The Zombies, MGMT and The Dead Weather.
Now Modular have delivered a little video teaser of Anxiety, embedded below.
The album will be released on March 16 in Australia, March 19 in the UK and March 20 in the US. iTunes pre-orders come with a bonus track called ‘Human’, CD and vinyl pre-orders with a keyring, and a limited edition Ladyhawke singlet if you buy from her online store.
