Authorities in Prague are keeping Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe in jail for another 10 days instead of allowing him out on bail.
Blythe is facing manslaughter charges over the death of a fan involved in a brawl at a Lamb of God gig in the Czech Republic the last time the band toured the country 18 months ago.
Blythe was given bail of around four million Czech koruna ($AUD200,000) but despite the bail being posted the system in the country is slow and he will remain imprisoned until the bail is processed.
The prosecutor will give approval to the bail once certain conditions are met and one of those is expected to be that Blythe cannot leave the Czech Republic.
On May 24, 2010, Blythe is alleged to have punched a 19-year old man during the band’s concert at Prague. Blythe was accused of pushing the fan who fell onto a concrete floor and received head injuries. He died 14 days later.
