Chairman of the Mushroom Group Michael Gudinski said, ‘I’m very excited about our partnership with the NGV to curate the entertainment for the NGV Summer Sundays. It’s a fantastic initiative to showcase homegrown Australian artists in a creative hub such as the NGV, and I’m looking forward to kicking back with a beer and a burger in The Garden come February.’
Summer exhibitions at the NGV include The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier, Express Yourself: Romance Was Born for Kids and David Shrigley: Life and Life Drawing and Takahiro Iwasaki’s Itsukushima Reflection Model, as well as the permanent collection.
NHV Summer Sundays in association with Mushroom will be on from 1pm to 7pm every Sunday in February.
