Lanie Lane Returns With Second Album

Lanie Lane will release her second album ‘Night Shade’ in October.

Lane first graced our speakers with the stunning ‘To The Horses’ in 2011 and single-handedly brought alt-Country to Australia.

The new album was recorded at Mangrove Studios over the past year.

The first taste of the album is a song titled ‘Celeste’. “Celeste is ‘the one who knows’, the best self – always guiding from the unseen, in tune with the magic of everyday existence, unbound by limitations or self-doubt,” Lanie said in a statement.

The video was shot in Peru. “We shot this video mostly in the Peruvian Andes,” she said. “It features my dear friend Christina Fire-Mane and stop motion nature sculptures made in the Victorian Goldfields by myself and Jennifer King. Over the last few years, these women have encouraged me to discover through expression, a connection to my Celeste through an unwavering dedication to their own”

‘Night Shade’ will be released through Ivy League on October 24.
