Last Dinosaurs took over a Brisbane shopping mall in the middle of the night to film their new video ‘Apollo’.
The ‘Apollo’ video was directed by the band’s bass player Michael Sloane. “The concept came from the band wanting to portray the message of the song’s lyrics, ideas of leading a double life, wanting something more, and transitioning from ordinary to extraordinary,” he said. “Even though the lyrics are serious, the upbeat music called for something fun on screen. I really have our dancer/actor Sheru Bharadwaja to thank for bringing groove, humour, and sincerity to his role as the security guard with a secret.”
‘Apollo’ will feature on the ‘Wellness’ album, due August 28, 2015.
