Fugees star Lauryn Hill will perform in Australia as part of Vivid Live 2014 for Sydney and other select dates around the country.
As well as Vivid Live, Hill will also perform in Melbourne and Perth.
Fugees ‘The Score’ reached no 5 in Australia in 1995 and sold over 6,000,000 copies in the USA. It won the band two Grammy Awards in 1996 for Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group With Vocals and Best Rap Album.
‘The Score’ also featured four hit singles ‘Fu-Gee-La’, ‘Killing Me Softly’, ‘Ready Or Not’ and ‘No Woman No Cry’.
After the breakup, Lauryn Hill released ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ and in 1999 earned Lauryn five more Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best R&B Song, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Album and Album of the Year.
