Lauryn Hill has announced that she will perform for a very special intimate show at Brooklyn Bowl, London on Sunday the 28th September.
This will follow her forthcoming run of UK tour dates, including two sold out shows at O2 Academy Brixton, the first of which sold out in under an hour! The shows across London, Birmingham and Manchester later this month will see Ms.Lauryn Hill perform on British soil for only the second time in 5 years.
Tickets for Brooklyn Bowl will go on-sale 9am on Friday 5th September.
Ms. Lauryn Hill the American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, academician and actress established herself in the music world as the lone female member of The Fugees, whose record sales would make them the second biggest selling R&B act worldwide since Michael Jackson. Lauryn launched her solo career with the release of the commercially successful and critically acclaimed album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’. This album earned Ms. Hill a record breaking five Grammy Awards including ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Best New Artist’.
After a four year hiatus post the release of ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ and only one other UK show in the space of five years it is a rare thing indeed to see Ms. Hill perform in such an intimate setting and is not to be missed.
