Lea Michele says it feels “so good to be home” after tweeting a picture from the set of Glee.
The actress-and-singer has returned to work after the tragic death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.
Lea took to Twitter after shooting scenes for the upcoming season of the hit TV show and shared a picture with fans.
“Feels so good to be home… #GleeSeason5 (sic),” she wrote alongside the snap, which sees her perched by a bed looking pensively into the distance.
Cory – who played loveable character Finn Hudson in Glee – passed away last month aged 31, after taking a lethal cocktail of alcohol and heroin following a night out with friends.
Lea, 26, initially kept a low profile after the tragedy but has since become more active on her Twitter account.
At the beginning of the month she posted: “First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I”ve missed her so much? (sic).”
A few days later she shared: “Couldn”t have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with.. (sic).”
Lea was also spotted among friends at Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s baby shower at the weekend.
“She was smiling and having a great time with her friends,” a source told E! News about the happy gathering.
Meanwhile, Fox network chairman Kevin Reilly recently announced that the upcoming season of Glee will directly address Finn”s drug abuse.
‘The third episode will deal with the Finn Hudson character being written out of the show,’ he said.
‘I can’t speak to it yet because it’s still being written. That episode will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory’s passing and the drug abuse in particular.”
Glee season 5 is set to premiere in September.
