Led Zeppelin storms back onto the charts for the fourth and final time with their last three albums in deluxe editions.
Coda came out on top in this wave, coming it at number 9 while Presence starts at 10 and In Through the Out Door is at 12. Presence and Out Door went to number 1 when they were first released in 1976 and 1979, respectively, while Coda peaked at 4 in 1982.
The death this week of Cilla Black put her 1983 album The Very Best of Cilla Black back onto the charts at a new high of number 14. The original release, a single CD set, peaked at number 20 while the 2013 edition, expanded to two discs, went to 26.
Also returning to the charts is the Clash’s London Calling, in at 21. The classic album peaked at number 9 in 1979.
At 48 is the debut of The Magical World of the Strands by Michael Head while Buddy Guy just sneaks on the list at number 100 with Born to Play Guitar. It’s Guy’s first album to make the British top 100 since 1993’s Feels Like Rain.
