Led Zeppelin’s entire catalogue will be re-reissued with the first of the releases coming very, very soon.
Led Zeppelin founder and guitarist Jimmy Page was interviewed on UK radio last week and said that he had hoped to release new editions of the Led Zeppelin catalogue in late 2013 but that they “will come out in the New Year, hopefully [in the] not too distant [future].”
Page confirmed that the albums will each be made available in their own box and include a bonus disc citing “an incredible version of ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’ for the Led Zeppelin III reissue. “It’s really raw in its approach, it’s quite dramatic, it’s cool,” he said.
The catalogue will not be released in one go. Page said they will arrive in 2014.
The first release will include ‘Led Zeppelin’, ‘Led Zeppelin II’ and ‘Led Zeppelin III’ with ‘Led Zeppelin IV’, ‘Houses of the Holy’, ‘Physical Graffiti’, ‘Presence’, ‘In Through The Out Door’ and ‘Coda’ planned for later in the year.
