Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight (December 3) and discussed Vikings, sex and their music.
Dave tried to get a description of Led Zeppelin’s music out of John Paul Jones, unsuccessfully I might add.
The three surviving members of Led Zeppelin were interviewed by Letterman after both Led Zep and Dave were honoured at The White House by President Obama on the weekend. Led Zeppelin, Letterman, Buddy Guy and Dustin Hoffman where given America’s highest cultural award, the Kennedy Honours.
The award going to Led Zeppelin was somewhat controversial considering that the band ripped off many an American blues artist on their early albums. Years later they were made to make amends with songwriting credits and royalties (check out the video below).
