Liam Gallagher Sound Cut During Final Melbourne Song

by Tim Cashmere on December 12, 2019

in Live,News

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was mid-way through his former Oasis hit Supersonic last night when the power was cut.

During his show at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on December 11, the power was cut to the stage during his final song.

The venue has an 11 pm curfew, with the fine for going over set at $250,000.

Gallagher commented on the curfew during the show, saying he’d have to power through the show to meet it. “We don’t travel all across the world for a tight fucking curfew,” he said.

Gallagher threw his arms up in helpless despair as fans could be heard booing as the sound suddenly ceased.

Noise11 has reached out to Margaret Court Arena for comment, but have so far not been given a response.

Gallagher took to Twitter afterwards to talk about the incident.
