Lafayette legends Lil’ Band O’ Gold have a Christmas gift for fans, a free download of ‘Santa’s Messin’ With The Kid’.
2014 was a tough year for Lil Band O Gold with news that their long-time keyboard player David Egan was battling cancer. Egan wrote ‘Please No More’, covered by both Joe Cocker and Etta James and in 2003 released his solo album ‘Twenty Years of Trouble’.
In July 2013, legendary drummer Warren Storm also confirmed his departure from the band at age 76. In 1958, Warren had his own solo hit song in America when ‘Mama, Mama, Mama’ made the Billboard chart.
