Cute-as-a-button folk-popper Lisa Mitchell releases a video for the title track of her new album.

The ex-Idol has done well to forge a path as a ‘serious’ artist, going platinum with her debut album Wonder, which was also a shock winner of the 2009 Australian Music Prize for best album of the year.

Earlier this year she delivered new tunes with the ‘Spiritus’ EP and will release her second full-length Bless This Mess on October 12.

To wit, she has released a classy little video for the first single, also titled ‘Bless This Mess’ (if shooting in black and white makes dancing around in her underwear classy). It’s a soaring torch song that might put her into Florence + The Machine territory. One can only hope. Have a look below.
