Iggy Pop and Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino have recorded a song for the ‘True Blood’ soundtrack.

‘Let’s Boot And Rally’ was co-written by James Combs and KCRW DJ Gary Calamar. Calamar is True Blood’s music supervisor.
The song with Bethany is reminiscent of ‘Candy’, the duet Iggy Pop did all those years ago with Kate Pierson of the B52’s.
Iggy approached Gary to write a song for him to do for the show because he is a big fan of ‘True Blood’.
‘True Blood’ is the erotic vampire thriller, now in its forth season on HBO.
Soundtracks for ‘True Blood’ have earned the show two Grammy nominations. Episode 10 of Season 4 was titled ‘Burning Down The House’ and featured a cover of the Talking Heads song by The Used.
