UK indie dance oddballs Hot Chip have released a bouncy new funk workout ‘Night And Day’ from their forthcoming album.
The band are preparing to release their fifth album In Our Heads, following up on 2010’s One Life Stand.
And it’ll be a hell of a lot funkier than that album if the first listen is anything to go by. They even note in the new tune ‘Night And Day’ that they like ‘80s Ohio funk band Zapp rather than Frank Zappa.
‘Night And Day’ will be released digitally and on a 12-inch with a 2 Bears remix and b-side ‘Jelly Babies’.
In Our Heads will be out on June 4 via Domino Records.
