Radiohead’s Thom York has released his third solo album ‘ANIMA’ and has previewed the album with a video for the track ‘Not The News’.
Yorke fans may know the songs from a few years back when Yorke performed it on the ‘Tomorrows Modern Boxes’ tour of 2014.
Yorke wrote all the lyrics for the album with music co-composed with Nigel Godrich. As a prelude to the album, screening of a short film, also titled ANIMA’, debuted last week at a cinema in Los Angeles, followed by the movie debut on Netflix on 27 June 2019. The film features Yorke’s partner, actress Dajana Roncione, plus choreography by Damien Jalet and projections by Tarik Barri, who has toured with Yorke.
