This week’s Noise11 iHeartRadio is a special Record Store Day edition featuring interviews with RSD Ambassador Ella Hooper, Songland Records’ Brian ‘Frog’ Harris, Ambition Music Group’s Robert Rigby and Pro-Ject Audio’s Leigh Fischer.
Ella Hooper, at the ripe old age of 33, actually pre-dates the digital download with her career. Ella’s first number one hit, ‘Mascara’ with Killing Heidi, was only available as a CD. Ella will be visited music stores across Melbourne on Record Store Day on April 16.
Brian ‘Frog’ Harris is the owner of one of Australia’s most proactive music stores Songland Records in Canberra. A former record company exec, Frog specialises in hard to find music as well as the latest releases and is heard nationally on radio via Luke Bona’s Australia Overnight program.
Robert Rigby is a legend of the Australian record industry. As founder of the Ambition Music Group, Robert has rejuvenated the career’s of Russell Morris, Marcia Hines and many Australian artists and worked closely with Jon English as well as releasing his most recent albums.
