The first taste of the upcoming Lindsay Buckingham and Christine McVie album is ‘In My World’, written by Lindsay.

The ‘Lindsay Buckingham/Christine McVie’ album was originally intended to be a new Fleetwood Mac album when sessions began in 2014. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie contributed to the album but the Fleetwood Mac project fell through when Stevie Nicks failed to participate, instead opting to tour to promote her solo album ’24 Karat Gold: From The Vault’. (Nicks had originally said she would be part of the new Fleetwood Mac album.

Buckingham, McVie, McVie and Fleetwood spent two months recording in Los Angeles without Nicks.

In April 2017 Lindsay Buckingham issued the statement, “”We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, ‘What took us so long?”

‘Lindsay Buckingham/Christine McVie’ will be released 9 June 2017.

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
