Australian pop icon Little Pattie has cast her vote of support for Labor candidate Anthony Albanese as Labor leader.
Patricia Amphlett, aka Little Pattie, has had a long association with the Labor Party. She sang the ‘Its Time’ theme that was the soundtrack for success for Gough Whitlam to take the top job of Prime Minister 40 year ago.
Little Pattie’s first hit single was ‘He’s My Blonde Haired, Stompie Wompie, Real Gone Surfer Boy’ in 1963. In 2003 she received the Order of Australia (OAM) for her services to the media, entertainment and the arts.
She is the cousin of the late Divinyls singer Chrissie Amphlett.
