Loretta Lynn has been forced to postpone two shows in Iowa due to reported exhaustion.
Lynn, 81, will reschedule her Tuesday night show in Spencer and her Wednesday night show in Cedar Rapids for a later time so that she can rest. Her next show is not scheduled until November 14 in North Tonawanda, NY.
Her representatives broke the news on her webpage:
Country Music Legend Loretta Lynn postpones Iowa shows after a grueling Canadian tour. Lynn’s representative stated “Lynn started feeling poorly midway through her three week tour. Loretta is a pro and wants to give her fans the best show possible. She felt she Physically was unable to do that.” Lynn is taking some much needed time off and being treated for exhaustion, she hopes that everyone will understand and is rescheduling both shows.
Lynn stays active on the tour circuit despite now being in her 80’s. Last year, she also postponed two shows to undergo physical therapy for a recently replaced knee.
