Country legend Loretta Lynn will launch her new album ‘Full Circle’ at SXSW in Austin on March 17.
‘Full Circle’ is first album for the 83 year old since 2004’s Jack White produced ‘Van Lear Rose’. She was 72 when she made that record, White was 28. The album won the Best Country Album for Loretta and Jack.
‘Full Circle’ features 13 new recordings including a re-recording of ‘Whispering Sea’, the first song Loretta Lynn ever wrote.
The album is the first in a series of albums recorded at Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
‘Full Circle’ also includes ‘Lay Me Down’ with Willie Nelson and ‘Everything It Takes’ with Elvis Costello.
Loretta Lynn will perform on March 17, 2016 during SXSW at Stubbs at 8.15pm.
