M-Phazes, the Melbourne based hip-hop producer and performer, has remixed Davey Lane’s ‘You’re The Cops, I’m The Crime’.
Lane has just wrapped up a national tour with his other life You Am I and has announced a series of solo dates to start work on the promotion of his solo record.
‘You’re The Cops, I’m The Crime’ is the first taste of Davey’s solo E.P. ‘The Good Borne of Bad Tymes’. For the release of the EP Lane has become his own label mogul and will release the EP on his new label Field Recordings.
Davey’s first solo showcase will be a performance at the BIGSOUND music conference in Brisbane in September 11.
