Macklemore (aka Ben Haggerty) and his fiancée Tricia Davis are going to have a baby.
The Grammy Award winning rapper announced his news via a YouTube message on Saturday.
“We wanted to share the news with you ourselves,”… Love, Ben & Tricia, he posted at the Macklemore Facebook page.
“We are soooo excited,” he couple wrote on YouTube.
Macklemore rose to fan with Ryan Lewis with their first hit ‘Can’t Hold Us’ in 2011. Then came ‘Same Love’, and ‘Thrift Shop’ in 2012 before ‘White Walls’ in 2013.
The pair was nominated for seven Grammy awards at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, winning four awards including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album (The Heist), Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance (“Thrift Shop”).
Haggerty proposed to Davis on January 1, 2013 after being together for 7 years.
