Macklemore will visit Australia for a one-off performance at the NRL Grand Final in Sydney on October 1.
Macklemore will take the opportunity to spruik up his new album ‘Gemini’ while he is in the country and get Sydney dancing at the footy with his hits like ‘Thrift Shop’, ‘Downtown’, ‘Can’t Hold Us’ and his same-sex anthem ‘Same Love’.
‘Same Love’ is a same-sex anthem, appropriate at the time that Australia is caught up a bitter and disgusting government plot to belittle same sex couples with its arrogant and expensive $122 million postal survey.
Even wacker ex-PM John Howard, the man who says Yes to War and No to Love, is standing alongside his same sex fan boy Tony Abbott to promote the negatives.
Macklemore said is looking forward to his visit “I couldn’t be more honoured and excited to perform at the NRL Grand Final. It’ll be one of the largest crowds I’ve performed for thus far and my only show in Australia this year. I’m humbled to have the opportunity to reach such a large, enthusiastic NRL audience,” he said in a statement.
