Madonna has released the second song from her ‘Madame X’ album, ‘I Rise’.
The song is an emotional tribute to America’s gun violence. ‘I Rise’ includes a sample from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Emma González.
‘I Rise’ is the second taste of the upcoming Madonna album ‘Madame X’. Madonna performed the first single ‘Medellin’ this week at the Billboard Music Awards.
Madonna will roll out songs from ‘Madame X’ with a series of singles in coming weeks. She will release “Crave,” featuring Swae Lee and produced by Mike Dean, on May 10, “Future,” featuring Quavo, on May 17 and “Dark Ballet” on June 7.
