Caught A Ghost had a profile boost this week when their cover of Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’ was featured on ‘Grey’s Anatomy.
Caught A Ghost is the new project for Los Angeles singer songwriter Jesse Nolan with his schoolmate Stephen Edelstein on drums.
Nolan plays every instrument on Caught A Ghost records except for horns and drums. He describes the band as “a modern take on blue eyed soul”, in itself a nod to Hall & Oates. “Caught a Ghost is ultimately about a collective experience.” he says. “It may have genesis in my weird brain, but it’s ultimately about creating community.”
Nolan is the singer, songwriter and producer in Caught A Ghost although in this case the track is the 80s Madonna hit reinvented.
Caught a Ghost is signed to +1 Records (The Heavy, The Morning Benders, The Postelles). The debut album ‘Human Nature’ was released on April 1.
