The over-hyped Madonna album ‘Rebel Heart’ has stiffed in its second week in Australia and the UK and will do the same in the USA this week.
The one-week wonder ‘Rebel Heart’ dropped from 1 to 18 on the Australian album chart on the weekend and from 2 to 7 in the UK.
US projects from hitsdailydouble.com show a similar projection for the USA later this week with ‘Rebel Heart’ set to tumble toward the bottom end of the Top 20 albums by week’s end.
‘Rebel Heart’ sold 1,312 copies in Australia last week after debuting at no. 1 one week earlier with 6962 sales. In the first two weeks, Madonna ‘Rebel Heart’ failed to sell 10,000 copies in Australia. A Gold Record award is certified for sales of 35,000.
