Cold Water, Major Lazer’s collaboration with Justin Bieber and MØ, has slipped in front of Illy’s ‘Papercuts’ as the biggest selling song in Australia.
Frankston’s Alasdair Murray aka Illy spent the later part of the week with Australia’s top song ‘Papercuts’ before Major Lazer brought in the heavy artillery to remove him.
‘Papercuts’ features Vera Blue, the artist formerly known as Celia Pavey when she performed on season 2 of The Voice.
‘Papercuts’ will feature on Illy’s sixth album, still to be announced.
Major Lazer’s Bieber/MØ collaboration will be included on the next Major Lazer album ‘Music Is The Weapon’. A released date is yet to be confirmed.
