Marcia Hines’ new video was directed, stars and features the vocals of Academy Award winning actor Russell Crowe.
The ‘Remedy’ video is set inside a hospital with Hines and Crowe and an emergency room of dancing nurses. The song from Marcia’s ‘Amazing’ album is reminiscent of Ike & Tina Turner’s Nutbush City Limits’.
Marcia will take the show on the road to tour ‘Amazing’ from the end of July. She has put together a six-piece band led by her producer and songwriting partner Tom Diesel.
‘Amazing’ was recorded with Diesel and Ron E Jones in Sydney. Crowe, an old friend of Hines, dropped into the studio to record ‘Remedy’ for the album. “All I can say is he blew us away,” Marcia said in a statement. “He came into the studio totally prepared and he knew his stuff, and that’s one of the many, many reasons why he is where his song ‘Testify’ with his band is today”.
