Mariah Carey has insisted she’s ‘not too old’ to have another baby, according to reports.
The 45-year-old singer is already mother to four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with estranged husband Nick Cannon.
And despite the fact that she and Nick have yet to finalise their divorce, Mariah is already said to be thinking about further expanding her family with new boyfriend James Packer.
“She wants another child and is telling friends she’s not too old,” a source told Life & Style magazine.
The stunning songbird started dating 47-year-old billionaire James in June.
While the pair’s romance is still in the fledgling stages, James is also apparently keen to have a baby with his girlfriend.
And Mariah would want for nothing if she was to fall pregnant again, as James is said to have promised to treat her like royalty while she was expecting.
‘James is promising to spoil her throughout the pregnancy,’ the source added. ‘He’s convinced her he would not only be by her side 24/7, but he would hire round-the-clock care and the best doctors money can buy.”
James already has three children from a previous marriage.
The new couple have been spotted out looking smitten recently, with a lavish boat trip in Capri proving the perfect moment to show off their affections.
James is apparently keen to blow his girlfriend away with his romantic gestures.
“Mariah was introduced to James a few months ago by a mutual friend and he’s been on a mission to prove he’s her Prince Charming. Their first date was like a movie scene – he picked her up from her apartment in New York in a limo and took her to a helipad,” a source told British magazine Closer. “Then they flew by helicopter to an airfield where a private jet was waiting for them. They had dinner in the air as the sun was setting over Manhattan, enjoying caviar, champagne and luxury truffles.”
