Australian singer songwriter Marie Wilson will return to Melbourne in December for a show to mark the 20th anniversary of her ‘Real Life’ album.

Marie gathered her fanbase with live performances and indie music in Melbourne in the early 90s. In 1998 she signed with Warner Music and released her major label debut ‘Real Life’. It peaked at no 7 on the ARIA album chart.

Marie’s singles ‘Next Time’ peaked at no 21, the follow-up ‘Won’t Keep A Good Girl Down’ peaked at 31.

Marie also performed the theme song for the Australian movie ‘Me Myself I’, a cover of the Joan Armatrading classic. Rachel Griffins starred in the movie.

Marie took a break from the music biz in 2005 but returned in 2014 with a new indie release ‘Extraordinary’.

Marie Wilson will perform her Real Life 20th Anniversary Show at Matthew Flinders Hotel, Chadstone on 7 December 2018.
