Joseph Knopfler, the son of Dire Straits legend Mark Knopfler, has launched his own alcohol beverage, Pedrino.
Knopfler is the co-creator of the tonic launched in London this week. Pedrino is a blend of sherry and tonic water.
“The time is right for sherry to enjoy a resurgence,” boasts the Pedrino website. “Tonic is an essential cocktail accompaniment since the beginning, yet despite the two being mixed and enjoyed no one has yet brought these two vintage icons together”.
Pedrino is being marketed as “a premium alcoholic tonic”.
