Mark Ronson will play A DJ set in Sydney next week during his Australian promo tour.
Ronson will be in Australia to talk up his new album ‘Uptown Special’ missing gigs by his step-father, Mick Jones of Foreigner by one week. Foreigner will play their last Australian show tonight (Thursday Jan 29) at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.
Ronson’s ‘Uptown Special’ debuted at number two on the ARIA chart this week, missing the top spot by just 106 sales due to the unexpected publicity Taylor Swift created when Buzzfeed attempted to sabotage the Triple J Hottest 100.
The next single to be released from Ronson’s ‘Uptown Special’ is expected to be ‘Daffodils’, featuring Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.
Mark Ronson will appear at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney next Wednesday February 4.
