Adam Levine is set to make his acting debut.
The Maroon 5 frontman will take a break from the stage to star in season two of hit FX series, American Horror Story.
Adam, who is also mentor on music competition show The Voice, will play “a contemporary character and half of the couple called ‘The Lovers’,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
The publication claims that producers of the show are so excited to have the handsome brunette on the show that that they are more than happy to work around his summer touring schedule as they go through final negotiations.
The show also co-stars Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters in the Ryan Murphy-created show.
Murphy hinted that season two will be set in a ‘horror institution’ on the East Coast. It’s due to hit screens in October.
