Singer / Songwriter Marvin Priest has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
Priest, son of reggae great Marvin Priest, now lives in Sydney.
He achieved double platinum success with his single ‘Own This Club’ and another hit with ‘Take Me Away’ featuring Wynter Gordon. This week he was nominated for two APRA Music Awards.
“I am thrilled to have joined the Universal family of writers. I am looking forward to working with the guys at UMPG on the material I write and perform and can’t wait to do plenty of writing for other artists” Marvin said in a statement.
“Marvin brings years of international experience to the table, he has music in his blood and he was born to write songs. We are incredibly pleased that Marvin has chosen to sign with UMPG and we look forward to many hits over the coming years” said Heath Johns, Director of A&R, Universal Music Publishing Group- Australia.
