Matt Bellamy would love to play a show on a mysterious planet.
The Muse frontman is preparing to release the band’s sixth studio album, The 2nd Law.
The Grammy Award-winning star has played a number of impressive stadiums in his time with the rock band, but has revealed his other-worldly plans for a dream show.
“Somewhere in the star constellation Pleiades there’s rumoured to be a planet that’s supposed to be like ours. People did research into the way they’re laid out and a lot of them seem to have star maps that suggest Pleiades is definitely an important location,” he told NME magazine.
“I wonder if there’s something out there.”
Matt has revealed the themes included on the new album.
The final two tracks have an element of doom to them, and feature trumpets and quiet piano noises throughout.
“It’s the noise of humanity of a tiny planet in the middle of nothing,” he laughed. “Hanging around space would be so peaceful and quiet and suddenly you come to this little blip that’s f**king chaos!”
