Mona Foma has dropped a surprise announcement for 2017 with news that Maynard Keenan and Mike Patton will be in Hobart, Tasmania for next year’s event.
Mike Patton will debut his new band Tētēma for the first time anywhere in the world. Tētēma is also Anthony Pateras, Will Guthri and Erkki Veltheim.
Tētēma’s world premiere will take place on 21 January.
Tool’s Maynard Keenan will perform as Puscifer for the festival on 20 January.
Tickets for Mona Foma will go on sale 17 October and the full program will be announced on 12 October.
MOFO 2017 dates are 18-22 January 2017 in Hobart, Tasmania.
