Lollapalooza, the yearly Chicago-based festival started in 1991 by Perry Farrell, has announced an eclectic mix of artists for 2015 with Paul McCartney, Metallica and Florence + The Machine headline one night each.
Scheduled for Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2 at Chicago’s Grant Park, this year’s lineup concentrates on what Lollapalooza does best, cutting edge up-and-coming artists but that doesn’t stop them from recognizing the veteran artists that set the stage for today’s best. For 2015, that includes two of the three headliners, Paul McCartney on Friday night and Metallica on Saturday night. Florence + the Machine headline on closing night.
