Megan Washington will perform two intimate shows in April to road test new material in the lead-up to her next album.
Washington has been recording in London with Samuel Dixon (Adele, Sia) at London’s RAK Studios and Peter Gabriel’s New World. A single ‘Who Are You’ has already been released from the sessions.
It’s been nearly four years since Washington released her award-winning album ‘I Believe You Liar’ which entered the ARIA chart at no. 3. The album ended up selling over 140,000 copies in Australia and earned Megan a double-platinum award.
Music fans across Australia first heard Megan in 2009 via Triple J’s Unearthed. Her song ‘Clementine’ won her the Triple J Unearthed competition.
By 2011, Megan Washington won Best Female Artist and Breakthrough Australian Artist, at the ARIA Awards.
