Michael Bublé has announced his ninth studio album will be called ‘Nobody But Me’ and that Meghan Trainor is one of the guest vocalists.
22 year old Trainor, best known for the pop hit ‘All About The Bass’, as well as Black Thought of The Roots on the title track are the featured artists on the record produced by Bublé and Johan Carlsson in Los Angeles and Vancouver.
“I don’t know that I’ve ever had this much fun working on an album. It was especially thrilling to collaborate with my band who understand that I want to sound better than I’ve ever sounded. I’m also very proud of the new songs. Having the opportunity to co-produce was a joy for me personally,” commented Buble’.
Bublé has also written three songs for the album and covers “My Baby Just Cares For Me”, “The Very Thought of You”, Brian Wilson’s “God Only Knows” and the Johnny Mercer classic “I Wanna Be Around”.
The music isn’t the only thing new from Bublé. He also has his own women’s fragrance launching on August 24. “I can’t see my wife earing it but her mother would,” Bublé said in a somewhat creepy comment.
‘Nobody But Me’ is the first Michael Bublé album since ‘To Be Loved’ three years ago. The album will be released on 21 October 2016.
