Meghan Trainor has no ambition to break the internet by showing off her butt.
The blonde singer was referencing Kim Kardashian’s 2014 Paper magazine shoot, which featured the reality TV queen posing nude with a champagne glass perched on her derriere.
Meghan is famous for singing about curvy girls, with her hit song All About That Bass celebrating the womanly figure. She’s completely happy with her body and would proudly show it off in a Playboy-style feature.
“Someone asked me if I would do a sexy photoshoot like Marilyn Monroe. I would do that for a beauty day, get dressed up and get pics so I can say, ‘Look how pretty I was at that age!'” Meghan exclaimed to British newspaper Metro.
“I would do a bathroom shoot where I wouldn’t show anything, maybe. I’m not going to do a Kimmy K though – ‘Here is my butt and my nips.’ I’m not going to break the internet.”
Meghan has been criticised for slamming skinny girls in her hit song, which features lyrics about her not being a US size two.
However, the 21-year-old doesn’t think she’s even that curvy.
“People ask, ‘Is it weird that people consider you a big girl when you’re normal?’ And I think, ‘Thank you!’ I think I’m pretty normal too,” she explained.
Meghan has been nominated for two Grammy awards, with the catchy track up for Song of the Year at next month’s ceremony.
Us Weekly also report she’ll be helping Blake Shelton mentor his contestants on the next season of The Voice US.
She’ll reportedly be joined by Lionel Richie, Ellie Goulding and Nick Jonas who will be assisting The Voice mentors Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.
