The Melbourne Music Bank shortlist has been announced with 12 finalists moving on to compete for this year’s prize.
The Melbourne Music Prize is a cultural imitative from the Bank of Melbourne. “We were thrilled to receive triple the number of submissions this year, which confirms to us the incredible amount of talent out there. This further spurs our excitement and makes us proud to continue to support the music makers of Victoria,” says Jac Phillips, Bank of Melbourne’s Head of Brand & Marketing.
You can now vote for you favourite artist for the Melbourne Music Prize. The four acts with the most votes will then perform at the finals at the Melbourne Art Centre on October 8.
