Melbourne Music Week has announced its nine-day program for November and it is pretty bloody impressive.
Highlights of 2016 include Dan Kelly at The Parliament of Victoria, a mini-music festival at the MCG with The Delta Riggs and Pierce Brothers, The Harpoons at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art and the return of the Tram Sessions.
Melbourne Music Week will once again include the Face The Music music conference and recognize 10 years of Triple J Unearthed with shows from Allday and Northeast House Party.
MMW Opening Night is a special event – Her Sound, Her Story: A Celebration of Women In Music featuring Australian artists Julia Stone, Ella Hooper, Mama Kin, Montaigne, Mojo Juju, Ecca Vandal, Elizabeth Rose, Airling and Nyne performing each other’s songs.
